Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

To all Royal Family Members

It is with deepest regret that I am sending my Deepest Sympathy and Condolences to all family members. In the loss of HRH. Princess Margaret.

Her Royal Highness. Princess Margaret, was our Commander-In-Chief to the Women's Royal Australian Army Corps.

To which I was a member between 1958 to 1960. I am also a member of the WRAAC Association in Queensland.

Yours Sincerely,

Patty Bartrim

It was a sad shock to hear about the death of HRH Margaret. I have always admired her light spirit and deep appreciation for the arts. She was an icon of chic and one person who defined an era in Britain. She will be missed.

I read that a quiet, low-key service was in order and immediately reacted with Indignation..........Margaret took a backseat all of her life...NOW is the time to give HRH her due and give her the Right Royal Sendoff she so richly deserves!

exquisite lady find peace and happiness in Heaven. We miss her
already...

"Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints in our hearts. And we are never, ever the same" (Author Unknown).

May God bless and keep. I offer my prayers and thoughts to Princess Margaret and her family. I pray for their strength and hope in their time or mourning. May they become even better, even stronger, and may Princess Margaret and the rest of the angels look over they royal family and watch from heaven above.

Sincerely,

I am a 90 year old mother of two children ex British citizens, now living in America, since being widowed twice in world war two.
It is a great sadness to learn of Princess Margaret's passing, I remember her as a lovely small child, when I waited with friends in Trafalgar through the night for 24 hours to get a close up view of her parents coronation, and will always treasure the memories of a lovely family, and a fun loving little girl.

I share with Britain, the sadness and grief at her passing. and extend condolences to all who will miss her so much.

Respectfully, Olive Colburn,Bend, Oregon, USA.

May you rest now until your next life...That will fulfill what you could not accomplish on this plain. Your life I must say for a very rigid atmosphere was an example of who, whatever we are..... We are human first and must live our lives in balance. At last my condolences to the royal family

may god save you all!!!

I would like to pass on my sympathies to Lord Linley, Lady Sarah Chatto and all the Royal Family in this time of there getting lost.

I was also wondering if its possible that Lord Linley and Lady Sarah Chatto to write to me personally.

Thanks

I wish to send my sympathy to the immediate family of HRH princess Margaret.
She has suffered for so long, and god granted her a peaceful death. She is
now a whole person, young and vibrant, just as she used to be. I am glad
all of her family was with her at the time of her death. Her family shows
unity and compassion, even though lord snowden is no longer her husband, he
respected her in the end. I extend sympathies to lord Linley and lady
Chatto. A mother is sadly missed no matter when it happens.

In a time like this, all should celebrate the life of one vibrant gracious
Lady. She will forever live on in the hearts and memories of those who loved
her dearly.

I think what I remember most learning about Margaret (as I was growing up), is
that her vibrancy was unmatched and that she had a keen sense of style and
grace.

I'm sure the Royals are most saddened by the loss of their beloved family
member and my thoughts and prayers are with them at this time.

Caroline

By now HRH Princess Margaret Rose is in Heaven and will stay forever at the side of her beloved Captain Peter Townsend.
It is a cruel thing for her dear mother HRH Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother, to bury her child. I pray for both.

Olga Regynna Calçada Weinheber, Brazil

Will be sadly missed by the World and family.
We wish to pass on our condolences.

Joyce and Ross Carter

Charlie and Wendy Small would like to send their deepest sympathy to the Queen Mum and all her family at this very sad time.

All our thoughts are with them.

Wendy & Charlie

I am saddened with the death of Princess Margaret.
I do disagree in that she NEVER gave up true love for the crown or for duty. She gave up her true love for $$ and for the glamour she would have lost not being a Royal Princess. She was scandalous in behaviour and then crucified both Princess Diana and The Duchess of York for their errors.
She was a tragedy.

Perhaps she has found peace.

Gail Cameron, Canada

My sincere condolences to her Majesty the Queen and other members of the Royal Family as they mourn the death of their loved one, Princess Margaret. Princess Margaret was a beautiful woman who inspired many people with her courage and her devotion to her sister Elizabeth. She will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry that Princess Margaret passed away. She will be missed around the world. I hope the Royal Family comes through this o.k. and I pray that the Queen has a wonderful Jubilee year in spite of the absence of the Princess, her sister.

my husband Terry Fay and myself (Suzanne Fay) from Calgary, Alberta Canada wish to send our sympathy to the royal family, especially the queen and the queen mother in the loss of their sister, daughter and aunt. Please find strength in each other in this time of sorrow.

I would like to send my warmest regards to all The Royal Family at this
very sad time.

Jan Robinson, Chingford, London.

We would like to express our deepest sympathy on the loss of your sister, Princess Margaret.

My family and I would like to send our heartfelt condolences to all the Royal Family on the passing of Princess Margaret. Our thoughts will be with each and every one at this time of dispair but please know that all nations are mourning with you and God is now caring for her and she is free of any pain she dealt with in the past.
We will burn a candle for her on Friday as a respect for Princess Margaret and it will be our way of remembering her and respecting her family during their hour of need.

Respectfully yours,

Muriel, Heather and Roberta Hamel, Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada

Princess Margaret will be sadly missed. The end of an era.

The lovely Margaret brought much pleasure and beauty to the Post War years if only she had been allowed to marry her true love would have lived a much happier life although as we know still managed to live life to the full. God Bless may you rest in peace.

From the Morgan Family

One of the the World's greatest leaders has lost a beloved sister, and a true friend. On behalf of Elizabethton High School, the Williams Family, and Elizabethton Tennessee, USA, I give the entire Royal Family, but especially Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and the Queen Mother my sincerest
condolences. We all may have lost a great friend and caring woman, but she is happy, though we are saddened. She is now with her God, and is smiling down on her loving sister, Elizabeth and her mother. Queen Elizabeth, I am sorry for your loss, and your families'. May she rest in peace and she will be waiting for you when you pass on, though we all pray that will never come, one day it will and when that day comes, you will see your sister. May God bless you, Your Majesty, and keep up your good work with your country.

I salute you, and will pause for a moment of silence on Friday to honor Princess
Margaret. God bless you and your family.
