Monday 12 July 2004

On Saturday 10 July, our very own 'Royal Scribe', Tori van Orden,  said 'I do'. On behalf of all her readers I want to say:

Since Tori's first priority has been (as it should have) her wedding on July 10th, I have invited her readers to add their own congratulatory messages to the site for this week, instead of Tori's column. On this page you will find all those messages and I'm sure I speak on behalf of everyone when I wish Tori and her husband a very long, happy and healthy marriage!

- Geraldine

P.S. If you want to add your messages to the list, please send it to: with in the subject line "Tori's wedding'" and I'll add it as soon as I get a chance!

Aloha from the Big Island of Hawaii! Sending you my best wishes and congratulations Tori!

- Robyn Gentry, Hilo, Hawaii

I love your articles on royalties, and feel heartily happy for your big day!!

- Sherry from Taiwan

What can I write that a 'wordsmith' like you, wouldn't know already?

Just enjoy the day, look forward to the future and make sure that you always remember what you feel now, at the times when he is really driving you crazy! - And the same advice to him!

- Gioff

To a Princess among columnists,

As always, your column on the royal origins of wedding traditions left me simultaneously wanting more, and amazed at the degree of detail you incorporate into your articles. When it's your time to be "royal for a day," I have no doubts that the poem you wrote about -- "married in white, you have chosen right" -- will be true. I hope your wedding day is filled with joy and is surpassed only by the happiness you will have throughout the years.

- S - RoHAG

Tori,

Congratulations! I am so happy for you! Wear your tiara well.

- Fellow Texas Girl, Holly

Mazel Tov!

Here's a toast of the best and a royal Trumpet Voluntary - hail bright scribe of the Lone Star, and your knightly consort!

Blessed Be, for evermore.

- Mel Whitney
